The new Aston Martin DB12 ushers in a new era in the next generation of sports cars. The 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine develops a class-leading 680 hp/800 Nm, raising the level of driving excitement to a whole new level.

The Aston Martin DB12 is fitted with 21-inch MICHELIN Pilot Sport S 5  tires, with a top speed of 202 mph and 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds!

MICHELIN ‘AML’ marked tires: tailor-made innovative tires for Aston Martin

The Aston Martin DB12 tires have been specially designed in a joint project with Michelin & the Aston Martin teams. Bringing together Aston Martin’s mastery of high performance and Michelin’s advanced cutting-edge simulation tools, the Aston Martin DB12 tires are a feat of precision engineering.

Marked with a unique designation of ‘AML’ on the sidewalls of the tires, the MICHELIN Pilot Sport S 5 for Aston Martin DB12 features a tailor-made compound, tire profile and tread pattern to ensure the highest levels of performance and precision with maximum grip in wet and dry conditions, both on the road and on track.

Michelin have created this unique textured effect for a premium aesthetic appearance. The premium touch sidewall design creates a sleek, matte-black aesthetic with a velvet-like micro texture on the tire’s sidewall.

  MICHELIN Acoustic Technology effectively reduces vibrations caused by the road resulting in a significant reduction of interior noise, with no compromise on handling performance and any other performance characteristics.  The MICHELIN Pilot Sport S 5 feature noise-cancelling polyurethane foam is inserted within the tire’s carcass.
