PROCEDURE:

  • This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of MICHELIN® products, including other brands owned by the Michelin Group and sold through authorized channels in each country. The coverage extends to the following product categories:

o   Passenger car and Light truck tires

    o   Truck and bus tires

    o   Motorcycle tires

  • MICHELIN® tires that are used under normal service conditions and in compliance with Michelin’s maintenance recommendations and safety warnings are covered by this warranty against defects in design, workmanship, and materials, subject to the terms and conditions specified herein.

What is Covered and Duration of Coverage

MICHELIN® replacement tires, when used under normal service conditions on the vehicle to which they were originally fitted, are covered under this warranty as follows:

  • “The warranty shall remain valid until the original usable tread pattern is worn out, or for a period of six (6) years from the date of purchase (subject to the presentation of valid proof of purchase), whichever occurs first.”

  • Upon the expiration of the applicable period stated above, all warranties, whether express or implied, shall be deemed terminated.

  • The term original usable tread pattern refers to the tread depth extending from the original tread design down to the level of the tread wear indicators as specified in detail below:

  • To preserve the validity of the treadwear warranty, the tires must be rotated at intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, or at the shorter of the prescribed rotation periods. Failure to rotate the tires in accordance with these requirements will render the treadwear warranty void.
