Pilot Sport 5 TIRE REVIEW

Excellent performance especially in the wet. They are however “noisy” and next time I would look more closely at other Brands.

Great tyres, gone from the Pilot sport 4 to 5, not much difference but they’re both great

They grip beautifully in the dry and helps cornering with better traction in the wet its performance lives up to its name fantastic grip no unnecessary skids.

I like how they perform on corners in the wet or dry. I feel safer

PS5 is an awesome tyre. Fitted to VW GOLF GTD, I have had PS4 and the obvious premium rivals, and this tyre is head and shoulders above them for performance. Comfortable, refined and low rolling resistance with excellent dry weather performance. Where they really impressed is wet weather. Excellent grip, resistance to aquaplaning and confidence inspiring. One of the few tyres you can really lean on in the wet. Superb.

We feel the grip, a little louder(road noise) than I expected

Tyres are performing well during dry road and track use, slightly better than the tyres they replaced, sport contacts, performing well so far under wet conditions, but not much driving in the wet, only been in the car for 12 weeks.

Since changing from falkin tyre's I could notice the difference immediately in sound, grip and general driving smoothness and breaking in the wet is very very good.
