Pilot Sport 5 TIRE REVIEW

The Michelin PS5 are brilliant. Excellent in every weather (haven’t tried snow!) For the price, they’re unrivalled. They’re an improvement to the PS4’s I had on previous. They get the power down very well!

They are the best tyres I have had on my Golf GTI Clubsport. Great feeling in all conditions wet or dry.

Best tyres money can buy simply the best

Good grip and very little noise

Very well particularly in the wet. The standard tyres would break out in the wet very easily. These stick so much better

Pot holes are the main cause of sidewall gashes which limit tyre life

They perform fantastically in the rain, even the heaviest rainfall doesn't phase them whatsoever, they give fantastic confidence in the wet and dry and are a marked improvement over the PS4 I had previously. Will definitely be having another set when the time comes. They are wearing well with around 6k miles done on them so far and still got a good 6mm left in them.

I have been very impressed with the dramatic increase in wet weather performance on my Mini Cooper S Works over the previously installed Dunlop Sport Maxx. The Michelin PS5's also have great feel and reduced road noise. Best all-round tyre I've had in last 15 years.

Excellently , great tyre

These tyres are ok, but not the best I've had from Michelin. The car is stable and the grip is very good in the dry & wet, and considering they're not a winter or snow tyre they coped very well in the brief snow days we've had this year - better than previous tyres. They are more prone to bad tram-lining on certain roads than my previous PS4 tyres and things like cats eyes are more of a pronounced thud than other Michelin tyres I've used in the past.
